Biography

Franco Castiglia, Licensed Realtor

I am an Italian immigrant, moved to BC at the age of 7 with my parents and fell in love with the country and its people. I have three siblings, all brothers, and we all attended school in Burnaby, graduating from high school at Lord Tweedsmuir Senior Secondary and went on to college for a degree in Accounting.

Soon, however, I attended a chef’s training apprenticeship program and followed in my father’s footsteps when I became an apprentice chef in 1987; I worked as a chef from 1987-1995 and even owned and managed my own restaurant. In 1995, I began a new career driving a bus, first with BC Transit and then with Coast Mountain.

Here is a list of my volunteer services, of which I am very proud:

  • Surrey Fire Dept. 1990-1993
  • RCMP Victim Services 1993-1995

My Real Estate Career

I have lived in Burnaby for the majority of my life, and I love the land, the people, and everything about this city! In October of 2010, I was licensed in Real Estate, a milestone that I had really wanted and was very proud and excited to finally achieve this, as I have always enjoyed working with people, helping the public, and meeting new people as well. I also love and enjoy helping families obtain their dreams of finding and owning their dream home.

I am a hard-working, passionate and caring realtor, and I always put my clients’ needs first.

Feel free to give me a call or send an email with any questions, and I look forward to helping you find your own dream home!
